How to Create Your Own Structure in Music

If you're writing music, you have to consider its structure. This can help you choose the chords that will work for you. However, the structure of your songtext doesn't necessarily have to follow the standard formulas. Instead, you can use basic music theory to create your own structure. There are a number of ways to do this, including composing a vocal melody first, then transcribing the lyric afterward .
A common song structure is ABCBA, which stands for aaa, abc, ba, bbc, and ccc. It's also called a verse-chorus form. The stanzas of this form have to be separated by double-spaced lines, and there is usually a bridge between each stanza.
Once you've decided on the structure of your song, you can start writing. Whether you're just starting out, or you've been writing for a while, it's a good idea to write as much as you can. Afterward, you can make changes to your lyrics to fit them into the format of the song. For example, you can change the vowel sounds, and even the words, if they don't quite fit.
After you've finished writing the lyrics, you can add vocal or instrumental content. Non-word vocals should be transcribed sparingly, as they must be harmonious with the words. You can improvise scatting as well, if you're confident.
Song texte is a tiny bit of text hidden within a song's lyrics. It's not the focus of the lyrics, but it's a bonus.
