How To Propagate Succulents

by Kristen Swan on 4 Aug 2023
How To Propagate Succulents is a simple and rewarding process that allows you to grow new plants from existing ones. One common method is through leaf cuttings. First, select a healthy succulent with mature leaves. Use clean, sharp scissors to carefully remove a leaf, and let it callus for a few days. Plant the callused end in well-draining succulent soil and water lightly. Place the container in bright, indirect sunlight. Be patient as roots develop and baby plants (pups) emerge. Once the pups have their own roots, transplant them into separate pots. With a little care, you'll have a collection of beautiful succulents to enjoy and share with others. Happy propagating!
